Dagmara Guy

Dagmara Guy is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and the founder of TrueSpace Psychotherapy in Toronto. She is a psychodynamic and attachment-oriented therapist who explores how early relationships shape the nervous system, identity, and our capacity for connection. Her work weaves together depth psychology, trauma-informed care, and nervous system–informed approaches to support clients in moving from survival patterns toward greater regulation, self-trust, and wholeness. With a warm, relational presence and deep respect for the body’s wisdom, Dagmara helps clients gently uncover the roots beneath symptoms, making space for healing, meaning, and lasting inner change.

Dagmara works especially well with clients who feel high-functioning on the outside, but internally struggle with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-doubt, or a sense of disconnection. Many clients come to therapy with a strong ability to cope and push through, yet still feel stuck in patterns that affect their relationships, confidence, and overall wellbeing.

Her style is warm and attuned, but direct. She creates space for clients to explore what feels difficult to name, whether that’s grief, shame, anger, loneliness, or the feeling of being too much or not enough. Dagmara supports clients in developing greater emotional clarity, strengthening boundaries, and building a steadier inner foundation that feels more secure and self-led.

Dagmara completed a five-year psychodynamic psychotherapy training program at the Ontario Psychotherapy and Counseling College (OPCC) and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT). She is committed to thoughtful, ethical, and ongoing professional development, and brings depth and care to the therapeutic process.
